The Band

It’s 1992 and for five 16 year-old girls, ‘the band’ is everything. 25 years later, the group of girls, who were once inseparable, reunite in Prague to see their heartthrobs one last time, and try once more to fulfil their dream of meeting the boy band whose music became the soundtrack to their lives. The Band features the music of Take That, one of Britain’s most successful boy bands of all time. Songs include: Never Forget, Back For Good, A Million Love Songs, Greatest Day, The Flood, Flight My Fire, Shine and Rule The World.

Blending humour and tension, this sharp, contemporary play explores responsibility, loyalty, and the moment a split second choice can change everything. Crosskeys College will be performing the teen version of this musical set in the 1920s that explores themes of fame, justice, and media sensationalism through the story of two murderesses, Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly.

Set in a small Newfoundland community, Come From Away tells the uplifting true story of how a town welcomed 7,000 stranded passengers following the events of 9/11. With a mix of soaring music, genuine emotion, and a remarkable true story, it’s a true celebration of hope, humanity, and unity. We Will Rock You

WE WILL ROCK YOU is a high-octane, adrenaline-fueled musical featuring more than 20 iconic Queen hits, including "Bohemian Rhapsody," "We Are the Champions," "Somebody to Love," "Don't Stop Me Now," and of course, "We Will Rock You." Set in a post-apocalyptic future where individuality has been outlawed and music is controlled by algorithms, the story follows two young revolutionaries who dare to defy the system to save rock 'n' roll.

Allo Allo 2 The Camembert Caper

10 June – 13 June

The villagers, with the aid of members of the Resistance, are trying to outwit their German occupiers to recover 50,000 francs hidden in a Camembert cheese and to repatriate two British airmen employing every devious means they can including a cabaret featuring Madame Edith’s singing and a hilarious can-can dance performed by the airmen, resistance and cafe staff. Performed by Newport Playgoers Society
